As it turns out Microsoft has developed its own technology that can turn Android phones into running devices Windows 10.
In the summer presentation of Windows 10, Microsoft revealed an agreement it has with the Chinese company company κατασκευής κινητών συσκευών Xiaomi. Σύμφωνα με το σχέδιο, κάποιοι ιδιοκτήτες των συσκευών της Xiaomi, Mi 4, ένα Android smartphone, θα είναι σε θέση να εγκαταστήσουν και να δοκιμάσουν τα 10 Windows Technical Preview, to give feedback to Microsoft that will of course affect the functionality of Project.
Πως γίνεται όμως να εγκαταστήσουν οι ενδιαφερόμενοι τα Windows 10 σε μια device Android;
According to TechCrunch this can be done with one custom-based ROM. Such ROMs (with read-only memory) can essentially install images of an operating system, and are commonly used to replace a device's operating system with a custom one. For example, CyanogenMod offers a customized Android ROM that can replace the stock version of Android that comes with a device. In this case, the flashed ROM will "write" over Android, to turn the device into a complete Windows 10 phone, equipped with the necessary Microsoft services.
Microsoft has confirmed the TechCrunch case, saying that owners of Xiaomi Mi4 devices will be able to "flash" Windows 10 on their devices. "This collaboration between Xiaomi and Microsoft will help us get immediate feedback from users and continue to improve them. "Microsoft is excited that Xiaomi is embracing Windows 10," Microsoft told TechCrunch.
So far, the program is limited to China and only for Xiaomi devices. However, Microsoft claims to have plans to further customize Windows 10 ROMs on more devices, according to TechCrunch.
Remember that Windows 10 will be released this summer in 190 countries and 111 languages. The upgrade will be free for those who use Windows 7 ή Windows 8.1. Το νέο λειτουργικό σύστημα είναι σχεδιασμένο να λειτουργεί σε smartphones, tablets και υπολογιστές.
