Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 11 and Windows 10 computers that have TPM (Trusted Platform Module) or PTT (Platform Trust Technology) in the case of Intel systems are experiencing an administrator-related error in the BitLocker control panel.
The issue occurs when BitLocker is enabled as it displays the message: “For your security, some settings are managed by your administrator.” The company says the message may appear elsewhere on the system:
"Summary
After you enable BitLocker on a computer that is an unmanaged device or that uses the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), you may receive the following message:
For your security, some settings are managed by your administrator.
For example, you might unexpectedly see the message in the BitLocker Control Panel and in some other places in Windows."

For those who may not be aware of what's going on with BitLocker in Windows 11 24H2, the company is promoting automatic encryption in the latest feature update and explained how Windows 11 system requirements, such as TPM and Secure Boot, play a key role in this.
So even PCs running Windows 24 Home 2H11 may be encrypted with BitLocker by default. The company has also released a handy guide to recovering and backing up your BitLocker key.

- Windows 10-11 Disable automatic encryption with Bitlocker
As for the error mentioned above, Microsoft says it is looking into the issue and will release a fix with more details:
"Situation
We are working on a resolution and will provide more information when it is available."
