Microsoft started adding AI (AI Actions) to Windows 11 context menus back in May, but now it seems to be starting to respond to user demands and making them optional in one of the latest versions of Windows 11, (build 26220.7344).
As one user noted in Reddit, at release notes, Microsoft states: 
“If there are no AI Actions available or enabled, this section will no longer appear in the context menu.”
You can also remove AI Actions from the context menu by going to Settings > Apps > Actions, deselecting all related options, such as Paint, Photos, and Groups.
In previous versions of Windows 11, if you tried the same, the AI actions would still be visible in the context menu, but they would be empty, taking up valuable space.
The AI Actions menu seems a bit clunky because really, all it does is link you to different apps. You can already get the same functionality by using Open With and selecting the program you want to open the file in and running AI Actions from there.
Microsoft is also making a few other improvements to the context menu, such as adding a file management submenu that consolidates options like Compress to… and Copy as. Additionally, all OneDrive-related options are grouped into a single OneDrive option.
Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.
