Ivan Davidov announced the news version of Minimal Linux Live (MLL). The 15-Dec-2019 edition. MLL is a tiny, educational Linux distribution designed to be built from scratch on your computer using a collection of automated shell scripts.
It offers a basic environment with only the Linux kernel, the GNU C library and the Busybox utilities.
Changes to the new version include:
“Updated software base – new MLL uses Linux kernel 5.4.3, and GNU C library 2.30 with Busybox 1.31.1. The file image ISO is at 10MB (x86_64) and requires 256MB of RAM to work properly.
It has DNS solutions from CloudFlare - by default MLL has three DNS solutions: Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8), Quad4 (4.4.4.4) and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1)
Features GraalVM overlay bundle containing JDK, Python, Ruby and Node.JS, but also the OpenJDK overlay bundle containing JDK from AdoptOpenJDK project. "
