You can install Intel GPU drivers without OEM restrictions

The drivers Intel's updates can now be updated separately from OEM customizations, as the company has decoupled them from your PC's manufacturer.

Intel

Intel released a new set of GPU driver updates today and they bring a major change for those using OEM PCs, mostly laptops. The most drivers decouples generic driver updates from OEM customizations, meaning you can now update your GPU drivers directly from Intel and without losing customizations made by your PC manufacturer.

This eliminates the need to wait for OEM validation before you receive the latest Intel Graphics Driver Updates on your PC.

Intel reports about it : We understand how much our users want the freedom to upgrade their systems with GPU drivers that are released regularly and provide the latest game improvements, feature updates and fixes. As of this release, Intel Graphics DCH drivers are now unlocked for free in the Download Center.

According to Intel's notes, you can simply download the .exe files and install the drivers on Intel 6th generation and newer processors, and as long as you're running 10 Fall Creators or later. Your PC's manufacturer customizations will remain intact and can be updated separately from your manufacturer via Windows .

Theoretically, this means, for example, that Surface users can update their graphics drivers at will, without having to worry about customization created by Microsoft, especially for Surface computers. The same goes for any other computer manufacturer.
