MX Linux is a Linux distribution that we prefer at iGuRu.gr. It is based on the Debian firm and came from a collaboration between the antiX and MEPIS Linux communities that has stopped growing.
It uses Xfce as the default desktop work, and is a functional system which combines an elegant and efficient desktop with simple settings, high stability, stable performance and minimal footprint.
In short, it's a fairly light distribution that does not sacrifice quality.
Yesterday dolphin_oracle announced the first beta of version 18.

Mx-installer (based on gazelle-installer) now includes options for LUKS encryption in root, home and swap. Mx-codecs have been updated to install new S3 texture packs that are especially important for Valve / Steam games.
Improved localization: almost all mx-apps received updated translations
New Conky configurations, the screen has more locale options.
