NASA revealed this weekteam that 2015 was the warmest year since it began collecting data, i.e. since 1880.

Η report of NASA shows that since the late 19th century, the carbon dioxide and other pollutant emissions have caused an increase in temperature of almost 2 degrees Celsius.
Of the 15 warmest years on record (2001 through 2015) the increase in temperature is significant. According to space service of USA, we had the largest temperature increase on record since 1998.
NASA also reports that this is the second time that such an increase has been recorded by 1880.
