H NASA announced that it is building a huge "eagle" that will fly into space 2014. It is a sail that will move with solar energy and its goal NASA is to determine whether it is feasible but also effective to use it as a propulsion mechanism in spacecraft.

The Sunjammer, when its construction is completed, it will be a sail of 38 meters with an area of ​​1.208 sq.m. Despite its size, the sail will weigh only 32 kg. The goal of the mission is to be able to cover a distance of three million km with the help of solar energy. The sail will consist of an improved version of the Kapton insulation material used mainly in objects or components that need thermal protection. In the Sunjammer a camera will be installed that will record every moment of his journey.
