The final version of .NET 5 was released about two weeks ago. Of course Microsoft has started planning the upcoming .NET 6.
Anyone of you who is interested in development can now follow it from a website.
.NET (formerly ..NET Core) is a free and open code, managed framework software for Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems. It is the successor to the .NET Framework and was primarily developed by Microsoft through the .NET Foundation. Released under MIT license.
Immo Landwerth did tweet to track the project, but made it clear that “this site is not intended to be a binding product roadmap, meaning you can see how we change our minds and respond to requestscalls. "
The list of proposed changes is very long. Anyone interested in this can take a look. Maybe there is one feature that you would like to see and does not exist yet.
