Apple's new iPad comes with an A9 chip and a brighter Retina display. Apple simply named the new tablet 'iPad' after the company decided to discontinue the Air 2 device is a tablet with a 9,7-inch screen and prices start at $329 for the 32GB variant and go up to $429 for the 128GB storage model.
The tablet does not have a fully laminated screen and some anti-reflective coating, but has a resolution of 264ppi at 2048 × 1536. It comes with an 8MP iSight rear camera and a 1.2MP front camera with FaceTime features.
The new 9.7-inch iPad has two speakers, a Lightning connector and a 3,5mm headphone jack. It also has Touch ID with support for Apple Pay, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
