Microsoft has begun to develop a new feature on Skype that aims to make it easier to invite and participate in group chatting.
With the new feature, Skye users on Windows, Mac and the Web they can create a unique URL address and send it to other users of the Internet. This URL will allow them to join a group and start communicating with their friends.
Invitees are not required to be their users Skype (good?). They can receive the URL that invites them to the conversation, by email, Messenger, WhatsApp, Twitter and / or any other communication channel you prefer.
This feature is already available to US and UK users. Microsoft plans to expand availability to the rest of the world "in a few weeks," said a spokesman. The new invitation mode activates group chats via text, voice, or video.
To invite users to such a conversation, Sky users will need to click the "+ New" button in the latest version of Microsoft's messaging app for Windows, Mac, or the Web to create and to share a unique link.
Invitees should simply click on the link and automatically link to the group's chat (somewhere here we predict that this Link will feed on jokes and other malicious actions).
