You remember then that Mozilla Foundation launched a contest to design a new logo? Well, of all the projects submitted, the Mozilla Foundation seems to have chosen one of the most minimalist.
Receive the new Mozilla Foundation logo.
Η company technically didn't officially reveal the new logo, but announced it with a video from the company's YouTube account.
The video was first published by the German Caschys Blog. Shortly after publishing the video, the Mozilla Foundation put more details on the logo in one blog post, even providing some extra pictures.
The final version of the logo seems to be chosen because it is a little bit minimalist and so it will be easier to apply it on various media.
The new logo definitely "screams" throughnetwork, and it seems to be smarter than the old one.
The logo uses a new font called Zilla, and was created by Typotheque. It is a free, open source font for anyone interested.
