You remember then that Mozilla Foundation launched a contest to design a new logo? Well, of all the projects submitted, the Mozilla Foundation seems to have chosen one of the most minimalist.
Receive the new Mozilla Foundation logo.
Η company technically didn't officially reveal the new logo, but announced it with a video from the company's YouTube account.
The video was first published by the German Caschys Blog. Shortly after publishing the video, the Mozilla Foundation put more details on the logo in one blog post, even providing a few extra pictures.
The final version of the logo seems to have been chosen because it is a bit more minimalistic and thus will be easier to apply to various media.
The new logo definitely screams internet, and it seems to be smarter than that old.
The logo uses a new font called Zilla, and was created by Typotheque. It is a free font open code for anyone interested.
