Along with building Windows 19018 in the fast ring, Microsoft is bringing new search options to users of Windows 10. See what will change.
Microsoft has updated the search window, officially called "Search Home", with a set of fast web links. Clicking on them will perform one of the following predefined search queries.
- Weather (Weather: View current conditions and upcoming forecast
- Top News: Read the latest headlines from popular news sites
- Today in history: Explore four events that happened on this day
- New movies: Find out what plays in theaters near you
To see the links above and their results, select the search box to open "Search", then select one of the quick search buttons. You can also enter a query in the search box for any topic you are interested in.
The new options are in the fast ring right now and will appear to users running from 1809 to 20H1. So far only available in the US, but will be available internationally soon.
