Nex Computer, developed the NexDock that turns Android smartphones into laptop workstations, and implements the NexPhone idea, presenting a smartphone that runs Android 16, Debian and dual-boots on Windows 11.

By 2026 standards, it's outdated hardware, but Nex Computer doesn't seem to mind, as it's aiming the NexPhone as a secondary or backup phone.
The phone includes an Adreno 643 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the NexPhone starts with NexOS, a bloatware-free and fairly minimalist Android 16 system, with Debian running as a GPU-accelerated application and Windows 11 being a dual-boot option that requires a reboot to access.
You can connect the NexPhone to a display with USB-C or HDMI, add a keyboard and mouse to turn it into a workstation.
