Microsoft continues to name its Xboxes with reptile-themed names. So the next Xbox release will be code-named Anaconda (Anaconda).
Initial Xbox One he had a code name Durango and Xbox One X got the code name Scorpio. Now it seems that Xbox's next generation, expected to reach 2020, will be named Anaconda. The name came to the surface this weekend from Windows Central along with the revelation that Microsoft has plans to release two new next-generation consoles.
Codenamed Anaconda, it will be the equivalent of the current Xbox One X, enhanced material, such as processors and graphics from AMD. Anaconda will also include SSD storage to reduce game load times. Microsoft is also preparing a second one console, codenamed Lockhart, which will act as the most affordable Xbox (think Xbox One S). Of course, both of these consoles will fully support existing compatible Xbox and Xbox 360 games and of course Xbox One titles.
While it's about the next generation of the next generation Xbox console console, Microsoft could also prepare an Xbox One S-free version for 2019. Windows Central claims that Microsoft may announce next month this cheaper Xbox, with plans to release it in the spring of 2019.
Microsoft's next consoles will also include a heavy focus on the service streaming xCloud gaming company. Microsoft plans to open public trials of the service in 2019 and will make Xbox games available on PCs, phones and consoles.
