Niantic Inc., the company behind the popular Pokemon Go app, doesn't seem to like cheaters in particular and anyone who violates its terms of use in general services. The company recently stated that it will permanently ban users it "caught" not complying with the regulations. 
In a post on the official websiteσελίδα Niantic specifically states that accounts may be banned outright for a variety of reasons.
This includes, but is not limited to: tampering with your site, using emulators, modifying or using unofficial software and / or accessing Pokemon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner and through the use of third party software.
Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legal gaming experience for everyone. We will continue to work with all of you to improve the quality of the game, including the continuous optimization and fine-tuning of our anti-cheat system. ”
After the success of the game they began to circulate online thousands of ways to cheat the system. A team hacker managed to develop a code to create a new API that can be integrated into bots.
Of course, the foreclosed accounts mentioned by the company are not clear how they will be realized. If Niantic blocks an account, could not the user create another? If the blocking is based on the IP address, and after a while the same address has someone else? Is the device blocked? As we understand there are many questions and issues that Niantic should solve.
But there is another matter which we consider the most serious of all: Any ban on Internet has failed miserably. The principle of "what locks, unlocks" seems to apply and hackers know it very well.
