HMD Global, which represents the Nokia, announced today the company's latest device: the Nokia 2.2 which will be sold at retail for € 99.
Nokia 2.2 is an interesting device. It certainly won't be incredibly fast, but it should be able to handle every function needed in the daily life of smartphones.
But let's look at the features of the new device that look very tempting for a phone in its category:

- 13MP f/2.2 rear-facing camera with LED flash

The procase of a MediaTek processor is not surprising, as it is more and more often found in devices that want to reduce the budget. As a rule, they tend to be cheaper than Qualcomm processors.
Here we should mention that the HMD promotes Nokia 2.2 mainly for its enhanced photos. As mentioned, it has a 12-megapixel rear camera.
But improvements for better photos according to the company have been made to the software that will use AI to improve low-light performance by capturing multiple shots of the same subject before composing a photo.
The new feature of the device's photo software sounds like Huawei's night mode, which it has on many of its top devices, such as the P30 Pro and Mate 20 Pro. To see how it runs on a much cheaper device, as the 99 euros sold in the Nokia 2.2 is one tenth of the price of a Huawei P30 Pro.
Nokia 2.2 comes with two different options for RAM and storage. In either case, you will have to pay extra.
The new device runs Android 9 Pie. It is the latest and greatest version of Google's operating system.
The device will also be part of the Android One program (the cheapest device you can buy and is certified by Android One), so you will have constant software updates.
