Nokia has just announced the new HERE maps app. The developers of the company added to the new updated version of the application tracking and appearance of real-time traffic in 50 countries.
According to Nokia, the HERE map application comes with new innovative features such as updating the direction of a road.
There are types of expressways where the direction can change depending on peak time or congestion, and HERE maps with the new feature that tracks traffic in real time will update the flow of traffic.
Nokia also says that traffic alerts have been added and the app will prompt drivers to slow down or change route to avoid traffic jams before it becomes visible.
"HERE Real-Time Traffic is the most comprehensive, global traffic service commercially available on the market today. With HERE Real-Time Traffic, Predictive Traffic, Traffic Patterns and Analytics, HERE is clearly leading the industry in advanced traffic content and services,” said Tony Belkin, Director of Traffic and Dynamic Content of the HERE application.
You can download the HERE app for Android free through the Google Play Store.
For iOS users, the app is also available for free through the App Store.
