With a rather suspicious coincidence, North Korea is currently facing a widespread interruption Internet, in accordance with Associated Press. The problems started about 24 hours ago, and have worsened since then.
If you haven't been following the latest events, North Korea was recently blamed by the United States for the recent disastrous Sony hack. During the duration press conference, President Obama had promised that the US would "respond accordingly."
Of course, there is no specific indication linking the blackout to Internet North Korea with the United States and the reprisals promised by the country's president.
It could just be an irrelevant interruption in a country that already has limited Internet access. (Keep at least the pretensions if the President has stated that the US has nothing to do with the blackout)
The White House, for its part, refused to comment on the Associated Press's publication.
