The American technology company Nvidia has announced that it is stopping its support for Windows 7 and 8.1.
In a post, Nvidia announced that from October 2021 it will stop supporting Windows 7 and Windows 8 / 8.1. All graphics driver updates, including performance improvements, new features, and bug fixes, will be available exclusively for Windows 10.
But he clarified that this does not mean that the company will completely ignore the old versions of Windows, since after the last information focused on performance, on August 31, 2021, critical security updates will continue to arrive for systems running Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 as well. And that at least until September 2024.
On January 14, 2020, Microsoft terminated officially its support for Windows 7, so it is a pleasant surprise that Nvidia will continue to provide at least security support.
