Porn virtual reality? Oculus Rift

A which probably won't surprise anyone at all, is to use the Oculus Rift virtual reality device for immersive, 3D pornography as well. Many people think about it, but no one mentions it. But today we had the first official "report" from Palmer Luckey according to VB.Oculus Rift 11

The odd thing about this story is that the platform is owned by Facebook known for its zero need for any kind of pornography.

"The Oculus Rift it is an open platform. We will not be able to control what the software does and what can run on it," said Mr of Oculus Palmer Luckey in an interview he gave today in San Jose, according to Variety. This particular statement came as an answer to the question about the capabilities that the device offers to adult content, such as pornographic games, 3D porn movies, or interactive virtual reality sex applications.

It's a real surprise given Facebook's humorous stance that considers pornography as artistic photos, breastfeeding pictures, or even mastectomy and tattoo photos on its website.

It should be noted, however, that Oculus and Facebook will control the apps distributed through the Oculus Store, whose terms s prohibit pornographic content.

But if you're a porn star developer, you have some other distribution channel and want to use for porno VR apps, Oculus obviously can not do anything to stop you.

Oculus Rift is an 3D device that has been developing for years. Facebook acquired Oculus for about 2 two-dollar 2014. The gadget will be commercially available after the first quarter of 2016, as reported by Facebook, and only for high-end Windows computers.
