Microsoft has just changed it's Office apps for Windows 10 to their final version. Ahead of the official release of Windows 10 on July 29, the company released final versions of Office applications to those who were testing the preview versions.
Not much seems to have changed in the apps, but they are clearly more refined to run on the upcoming Windows 10 operating system. While they will also run on desktop computers, Microsoft called the apps mobile apps, since they are primarily designed for touch screens smartphones and tablets that will run on Windows 10.
So if you only need Office for basic processing the standalone applications are perfect and you can download them directly from the links below. They are very light, fast and very easy to use.
Microsoft has also incorporated OneDrive into applications, so you can edit documents from the cloud and continue from where you stopped.
