Chinese OnePlus today unveiled the new OnePlus 5 smartphone, a beautiful 5.5 inch device running with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
OnePlus 5 was revealed a few minutes ago during a live event as the thinnest smartphone ever created by the company. The device comes with a dual camera system for cleaner photos and improved HDR, the latest Android Nougat operating system as well as amazing specifications that you can see below if you plan to change your old mobile phone.
Dash Charge is another new feature that comes with OnePlus 5, a new charching technology that seems to charge your device much faster than is currently available on other popular Android mobile phones like Samsung S8.
As expected, OnePlus 5 features the latest Oxygen OS interface.
The device is 7,25 mm thick and has a 5,5-inch screen with 1080p resolution (1080 × 1920), Optic AMOLED with 16M colors and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The OnePlus 5 has a Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset accompanied by a 2.45 GHz Kryo Octa-core CPU and an Adreno 540 GPU.
The device has a dual camera (16 MP f / 1,7 and 20 MP f / 2,6) with autofocus and LED flash, 2160p 30p recording on 8fps, and an 1080 MP, XNUMXp front camera for selfies.
OnePlus 5 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot support, A2DP Bluetooth LE 5.0, integrated GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and USB Type-C 1.0 .
It has a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and proximity sensors. It comes with a non-removable Li-Ion battery at 3300 mAh.
The device comes in two colors Midnight Black and Slate Gray with capacity in 64 GB and 128 GB with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM respectively.
OnePlus 5 is already available for pre-orders from OnePlus official online store for 479 dollars. In case of purchase the device will be shipped from June 27 2017.
