The smartphone manufacturer OnePlus today revealed a infringement security at electronic her store.
The violation probably happened last weekteam but it was discovered immediately, according to an FAQ page that published earlier today.
OnePlus says hackers gained access to older customer orders that included names, contacts, emails, and shipping addresses. According to the company, no passwords or financial data were leaked.
OnePlus believes that the hacker's entry point was a vulnerability on its website, but did not provide more details.
"We have inspected our site in detail to ensure that there are no similar security vulnerabilities," the company said.
"Before announcing the leak, we informed our online partners via e-mail. We are currently working with the competent authorities to further investigate the incident ", says a member of the security team of OnePlus in a forum post, separately from the company publication in the FAQ.
This is the second security breach in the company's short history. We saw a similar situation January of 2018, when intruders managed to access 40.000 user data.
What am I doing now;
If you are a customer of the company, you would do well to pay attention to the following space.
Avoid clicking on links contained in emails and do not open attachments if you do not expect them.
