During of an interview with StrictlyVC, Altman was asked if GPT-4 will be released in the first quarter or first half of the year, as most expect. He responded without offering a specific timeline. "It will come out at some point, when we're sure we can do it safely and responsibly."

When asked about a viral graph purporting to compare the number of parameters in GPT-3 (175 billion) to GPT-4 (100 trillion), Altman very politely called it “complete bullshit.”

“GPT-4 rumors are ridiculous. I don't know where all this is coming from," said the CEO of OpenAI.

"People are begging to be disappointed and they will be."

Asked how far we are from the development of AGI (from Artificial intelligence), Altman replied, "The closer we get, the harder it is for me to answer because I think it's going to be a lot murkier and a lot more of a gradual transition than people think."

And Altman also referred to the that the it will kill google.

“I think any time someone says that a technology is going to be the end of some other giant company, they're usually wrong. I think people forget that the other side can also make moves and are very smart, and quite capable. I think there will be a shift in search that will probably come at some point — but not as dramatic as people think and not in the short term.”
