The OpenMandriva project has just announced the start of development of a new version. The new version, OpenMandriva Lx 3 Beta 2, comes with Linux kernel 4.6.2, systemd 230 and is probably the only Linux distribution that brings packages built with the Clang compiler.
"This second beta is focused on improving stability and performance. Now, for the first time, it has sinks for Chinese and Japanese languages and using fcitx supports their input methods.
OpenMandriva is a distribution with LLVM/Clang technologies. Combined with the high level of optimization that usesται τόσο για τον code as well as connection (allowing LTO) used in its construction, the OpenMandriva desktop is an incredibly powerful answer to the new KDE Plasma. The latest releases of all KDE applications are there to support the desktop and give you a solid feel.”
More details can be found in the announcement OpenMandriva project and release notes.
