Stable version of Opera browser with built-in ad blocker

The new updated stable version of Opera comes with ad-blocking features and you can get it right now for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Opera Mini app for Android also comes with built-in ad .

In addition to the built-in ad blocker, the it offers a cleaner browsing experience, and seems to be faster, regardless of platform.

Additionally, Opera reports that even with an ad blocker enabled, the browser is 89% faster than a standard browser without one . Opera Mini is 40% faster, according to the company.

"Opera is the first company to offer a native ad blocker on all devices," says Lars Boilesen, CEO of Opera.

It should be noted that the feature is not enabled by default, and of course it makes sense, as there may be criticism from advertisers.

To enable the feature on a computer running Opera, all you have to do is launch the browser, open the settings screen. On the Privacy tab and there is an Ad Blocking category. Enable the feature and enjoy an ad-free Web.

On Android devices, press the "O" menu in the browser, and look for the setting.
