Furniture had largely escaped the smart revolution technologys in home, but apparently their time has come. Or to be precise, she came Ori their. Ori Systems' robotic furniture comes, and seems to be a good idea especially for those who want to save space in an apartment or a small home.
Designer Yves Behar collaborated with Ori Systemsto create a series of architectural robotic units that can be used as your home furniture.
Ori uses a modular electronics to offer full-scale bedrooms, living rooms, and offices in one unit. From a rollaway bed to an office with adjustable shelves and cabinets, the Ori system (origami) lets you have extra space in your living room at the touch of a button (or using the app).
The company has not mentioned Ori Systems' prices, but we know that the first units will be released at the beginning of 2017 with a pilot project to follow.
