In the last week of March 2010 some users of the social networking site reddit had the idea to dedicate a day to archiving computer data (aka backup).
Their purpose is to remind computer and "smart" users mobile phones the importance of storing the data whose eventual loss due to non-archiving can, in addition to the emotional value for the simple user, also have a financial impact for the professional and businesses.
The idea resonated, the Companies constructionof external hard drives embraced it and thus World Backup Day was born, celebrated every year since 2011, on March 31.
