A fault in the toilet of Elon Musk's Dragon capsule forces the astronauts to work with diapers!
According to a Twitter post by Steve Stich, the four astronauts in her Dragon capsule SpaceX they will have to work using nappies as a breakdown in the toilet on board does not allow them to use it.
SpaceX figured it out problem last month while performing controls in another Dragon capsule. He found that a tube used to channel urine into a storage tank could peel off, causing urine to leak to the floor of the capsule. In fact, this is a problem that has affected all three spacecraft operated by the company.
The capsule now houses NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, France's Thomas Pesquet of Europeanof the Space Agency and Akihiko Hoshide from Japan. It's unknown how long they'll be required to wear diapers, or if you'll want special underwear, as they call it at SpaceX. Equally curious is that the capsule carries diapers with it, like plan-B !!
