After global implementation Discord's strict age verification checks, the service's users began to flock to the competing platform TeamSpeak, overwhelming its servers. The Discord alternative said that its hosting capacity has reached its maximum.

In a free trial of Discord alternatives, it's hard to deny the appeal of TeamSpeak. It's quick and easy to create an account, join or start a group chat, or join a huge community voice server. At no point does TeamSpeak ask for any age verification.

However, there is no guarantee that TeamSpeak will not use its own age verification mechanism in the future. At least in the UK, the Internet Safety Act makes such checks a legal requirement.

On top of all that, if you prefer not to chat with random people, you'll probably need to pay a small subscription fee to rent your own ten-person group voice server.

Until then, you provide your card details and essentially fulfill an age security check anyway.
