Patch Tuesday as we say ouch! The rumors circulating in the community of friends of Windows are reporting that Microsoft will today re-release Windows 10 version 1809 on this month's Patch Tuesday.
Tip: If I was using Windows I would rather wait a week or a month until Microsoft promises the new version will work fine.
If you decide to follow the above tip it would be good to turn off Automatic Updates immediately.
Below are two methods for disabling Windows Update and they are quite simple.
If you're using Windows 7 or 8.1, do click στο Έναρξη – Πίνακας Ελέγχου – Σύστημα και Ασφάλεια. Στην περιοχή Windows Update, κάντε κλικ στο “Ενεργοποίηση ή απενεργοποίηση της automaticof information". Click the “Change Settings” link on the left. Make sure you set important updates to “Never check for updates (not recommended)” and click OK.
If you are using Windows 10 now, read the following post:
Disable Windows Update in Windows 10
or use the following tool we posted earlier:
StopUpdates10 stops on Windows 10 updates
The irony of the case is that according to duration of Patch Tuesday, Microsoft corrects errors or at least that's what we knew until today. But after the last successes of the company, the time has come when we should be protected from the repairs that are released through Patch Tuesday.
