Over the past two days, users on Reddit they mention problems with the DHCP service after applying the latest Patch Tuesday update.
Microsoft has updated the documentation in the June 10th update release notes for all Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 to state that the DHCP Server service may stop working “intermittently” after installing Patch Tuesday. This of course affects IP renewal processes on client computers. However, Redmond assures that a fix is being prepared, which will likely be released in the coming days.
Naturally, this problem is frustrating for IT administrators, and this annoyance is reflected in the Reddit thread where many customers are blaming Microsoft's software quality assurance practices.
The fact that it is currently unknown when a fix will be released exacerbates customer complaints.
For those who don't know, the DHCP Server service in Windows is responsible for network management, such as allocating and configuring IP addresses.

Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.
