Philips 27 inch with Moda design and Ambiglow Plus stand

MMD, a technology partner and brand partner of Philips Monitors, introduces a new 27 inch display with Moda design and Ambiglow Plus stand. Ambiglow Plus technology emits light above and around the base that synchronizes with the screen image to create a more immersive viewing experience.1 Philips Moda Ambiglow Plus

The light is available even when the screen is closed so users can adjust the color and brightness and create a special room atmosphere. With widescreen images

Fixing light with Ambiglow Plus base

Ambiglow Plus Base creates atmospheric lighting for every moment. Users can adjust the colors to their liking - for example refreshing during the day, a warm glow in the afternoon or a magical atmosphere in the evening. And if users don't want to choose, they can simply let the display cycle through the color spectrum. By setting the timer, the Ambiglow Base can also automatically turn on for welcome or wake up and turn off at night.

Ambiglow Plus, however, is much more than an elaborate lamp. Users can also choose to synchronize the colors with the scene that unfolds on the screen. Explaining the technology, Artem Khomenko, Philips EMEA Product Manager at MMD, says: "The Ambiglow Plus Quick Processor analyzes the incoming image and adjusts the color and brightness of the light momentarily. The result is an even more exciting and intense viewing experience that translates color and liveliness beyond the screen itself. "

Award-winning design

The 27-inch Ambiglow Plus-based Moda display has been honored with the 2015 Computex d & i award for its unique combination of design and user experience. With a preference for discreet elegance, Moda design works complementarily without dominating the home or workplace. With a 360-degree design, the screen looks beautiful from all angles, turned on or off. The glass from edge to edge and the narrow frame - extremely thin, only 3,5 mm compared to the more common 1,5 mm - creates a single elegant look preventing any distraction when viewing.

"The d&i award is a great reward for the screen," continues Artem Khomenko. “To win one of these coveted awards, the they must meet strict criteria regarding, for example, innovation, creativity, quality of construction and choice of materials. We are delighted that the new display has won such a positive accolade from the judges.”

Image performance for greater productivity

The impressive design combines with the outstanding display performance. Full HD resolution ensures crisp viewing and AH-IPS LCD gives the screen a superlative viewing angle with vibrant, high-contrast images even at the edges. With Flicker-Free technology, the screen minimizes flicker effects that although often go unnoticed, the negative impact of the flicker of the screen accumulates over time, causing fatigue in the eyes and reducing productivity and enjoyment. Flicker-Free technology keeps the screen steadily strong.

Ease of use

The Ambiglow Plus Base includes an intuitive touch strip for selecting functions and colors with easy to remember touch gestures. The new screen also features the now established ones Philips Smart for excellent image performance: SmartContrast automatically adjusts colors and backlight intensity to improve contrast in digital images and video. There is also a special Economy mode for the ideal display of daily professional applications and lower power consumption.

Επιπλέον, το SmartImage αναλύει αυτόματα την εικόνα που βλέπουν οι χρήστες και προσφέρει μια σειρά επιλογών για λειτουργίες βάσει συγκεκριμένων εφαρμογών. Και το SmartResponse των 5ms υπερενισχύει αυτόματα τους χρόνους απόκρισης της οθόνης για το gaming ή τα video για την εξάλειψη των απότομων κινήσεων, του time-lag και των φαινομένων ghosting – για ολοζώντανα which are further enhanced when the Ambiglow Plus Base is color-synchronized with the screen.

The new Philips 275C5QHGSW / 00 will be available at major electronics stores in early November at the suggested retail price of 389 €.
