Popcorn Time closed once again

The popular Popcorn Time app has rolled down once again. It was originally downloaded in 2014, but the project became open source. So other developers undertook to continue the development and release of the service.

The graph published by the administrators on their page shows that the public interest has dropped sharply lately.

Since then he falls and gets up.

According with Bloomberg, the team now behind Popcorn Time announced the closure of the service in an email. Although they did not say whether the closure was due to legal issues, Popcorn Time has had many problems with the law since its inception.

Of course, like torrent sites, Popcorn Time administrators claim that they are not responsible for any kind of piracy, because their service does not host content. However it uses a peer-to-peer system and distributes content from the application users's computers.
