The PortableApps is one of the projects I have been following for many years. The project is constantly evolving, with regular updates to which new applications are added.
So an idea that started in 2004 to create a portable version of Mozilla Firefox has today reached version 22.0.1 which contains 450+ portable apps (49GB) with over one billion downloads.
If you don't know them, Portable Apps are the raison d'être of the PortableApps project. They are versions of certain programs that don't need to be installed on a system to operate. Instead, thanks to its monolithic architecture, the executable has all the necessary configuration files, so that it can be used on any computer without installation.
The PortableApps project has a wide range of portable applications that you can simply insert into a USB stick.
With USB, you can use your favorite applications on any computer.
All the apps it has on PortableApps are free. Here to mention that PortableApps does not contain pirate software in platform of, although almost all commercial applications are available in portable versions on the Internet.
But in the list of applications contained in its pages, you will find many free alternatives that do not require installation.
You can download the latest version of the search-download application from the following link:

Very good project through which you avoid a lot of garbage in Windows (so much that in the end it is difficult to do anything)
