See how to work on your computer while watching a video with Picture in Picture.
Most users have heard of the Picture in Picture feature in browsers but hardly anyone uses it. But as a function it is very convenient. You can watch a video in the corner of your screen while working on your computer at the same time.
YouTube has the Picture in Picture function, with which you can play a video that will be pasted in a corner and on other open windows, regardless of your browser, for example in a word document, in an email and even on the desktop. This feature is compatible with all major browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Brave.
The small window with the video can be moved anywhere on your screen, minimized or enlarged. It also allows you to control playback (play, pause, cancel etc).
See how to enable Picture in Picture in Windows
step 1 : Open a web browser, e.g. Chrome, Edge or Firefox, go to YouTube and find a video.
step 2 : Double-right click on the video to bring up the following menu and click Picture-in-Picture.
It's important to remember that right-clicking the video just once will bring up a different menu with other actions, such as restoring a video.
step 3 : Once you select the Picture in Picture option, a small box with the video will appear in the lower right corner of the screen. You can drag the box to any position on the screen. You can also resize the video for easier viewing.
When you're done watching the video, you can return to the browser with a single click on “Back to Tab” or close it by clicking the Close button ( X ) in the upper right corner. This will stop Picture in Picture and return the video to the browser.
