In the last few days I have been watching with special interest the unequal match of KETHEA with a powerful one government. Yes, maybe the issue is not so technological, but it is interesting to see the role that the media plays in a fight between an established organization and a government.
Let's compare the arsenal:
KETHEA compares values and sentiment (see the intervention of the president of the KETHEA Workers Association in the parliament 1:13:15 and 2:36:51) while the government an internal one report of KETHEA which aimed to investigate complaints from the employees themselves. Another "very powerful" weapon in the arsenal of the government is the Agency's financial misdeeds, but without telling us how much money has been misused, as was done with the deficit of OKANA 5 years ago.
Yesterday the government's standard tactic (the mud of the day) continued with a letter from Phivos Zafiridis, former Director of the KETHEA, burying the Organization that fired him years ago. Reasonable? It might make more sense to mention that Mr. Fivos is promoting his own shop that is completely randomly dealing with detox.
Of course we must not forget all the big (top ranked) and "reliable" media that are friendly to the ruling party. There, the thing has completely gotten out of hand. Big ones websites they reproduce complaints of the government with long-winded titles starting with "BOMBA" "SCANDAL" etc. No one mentions the reasons which may be completely different.
The voice of KETHEA and the employees is not heard:
Well that's all, but why this post on SecNews?
Because I personally can not stand it censorship. The Chief Minister has a Facebook page. So in a post, he continues to bury a Body with the words of a former Director who fired him. The interest is in the comments below. You will see a lot of comments from friends of the Minister, and of course everyone congratulates him for his brave decision to bring cleansing to the "sinful" Organization.
The truth is that the page admins block all opposing opinions. The answers are marked as "invisible" and are visible only to the author's friends and page admins.
To say the truth:
Conclusion: Don't put them with the government, they have the power to bury your voices. However if you dare and put them on, keep going until the end!
Good fight to KETHEA's children and to all those who fight!
PS: thank you friend for the screenshots that prove censorship.
It empowers us to have people around us who understand the game of mud. Anyone with mud experience plays well and probably wins. Anyone who is new to the game has hit it. We are absolute beginners. Even the mud was late to recognize it, we thought it was foggy.
