Power Toys 0.82.1

Microsoft has released version 0.82.1 of its free PowerToys for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (June 2024 Update).

The 0.80 release shows us what's changed and what's fixed:power toys
The latest update brings support for WebP/WebM files, modified update settings, and several minor changes to existing utilities.

Additionally, the developers report the following for version 0.82.1:

  • #33504 – Fixed a crash when starting PowerToys Run on Windows 11 SV1 (build number 22000).
  • #33622 – Fixed PowerToys Run appearing too bright on Windows 10.
  • #33744 – Fixed the installation location of DSC files on user-scoped installations, causing winget configure to not work correctly with PowerToys.
