Microsoft has released version 0.82.1 of its free PowerToys for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (June 2024 Update).
The 0.80 release shows us what's changed and what's fixed:
The latest update brings support for WebP/WebM files, modified update settings, and several minor changes to existing utilities.
Additionally, the developers report the following for version 0.82.1:
- #33504 – Fixed a crash when starting PowerToys Run on Windows 11 SV1 (build number 22000).
- #33622 – Fixed PowerToys Run appearing too bright on Windows 10.
- #33744 – Fixed the installation location of DSC files on user-scoped installations, causing winget configure to not work correctly with PowerToys.
