Hackers steal data from the Ministry of Defense and blackmail the government

A hackers calling themselves "Pravyy Sector" are blackmailing the Polish government on Twitter, threatening to release που έχουν κλαπεί από υπουργείο Άμυνας της Πολωνίας, εάν η κυβέρνηση δεν πληρώνει 50.000 δολάρια, σε ένα ουκρανικό τραπεζικό λογαριασμό ή σε μια διεύθυνση Bitcoin.hacked hackers

The name "Pravyy Sector" is also used by a Ukrainian extremist nationalist organization active in Russia. The hackers claim to represent the group, but there is no evidence to support their claim.

To prove that they have original data, the group has leaked some of the files allegedly stolen from the Ministry of Defense on Twitter.

So right now there are scanned documents and screenshots showing the surface of a DoD computer, an Excel file with 1.368 entries of what appear to be local Intranet files containing LDAP paths, login times, failed logins, and other similar information is also freely available.

Later in the day, hackers continued to distribute data and leaked a document that purported to prove Poland's participation in the US PRISM program. This file has been deleted and does not exist on the any longer.

The Polish newspaper Wyborcza reported that a spokesman for the Polish defense ministry gave a classic CIA response saying they did not dispute or confirm the incident.
