Print.Test.Page.OK: an alternative way to a printer test page

Print.Test.Page.OK is a small program for Microsoft Windows, which provides the ability to print a test page to check the print quality of your printer.

Print

The test page is usually printed to verify that the printer is set up correctly. They may point to issues such as general printing problems, color printing issues, or head alignment issues. Windows includes the option to print a test page, but this is not customizable. One of the features of Print.Test.Page.OK is the ability to add custom text, fonts and colors to the test page.

The program is provided as a portable version and as an installer. Simply download the 169 Kilobyte (32-bit) or 219 Kilobyte (64-bit) file to unzip it and run it.

The Print.Test.Page.OK screen lists the formatting and preview options for printing. Select one of the available print test pages from the menu in the upper left corner. The preview changes automatically when you modify these settings. The default test page displays information about the printer, a color gradient, and custom text.

You can change the two gradient colors (valid for only one of the defaults and not all), enter any text you want, or change the font settings. The ability to add custom text is useful as you can add any type of text to see how it is printed (including symbols and custom characters).

The rest of the defaults focus on color printing. Just select them and press the print button to print a test page. Note that customization options, e.g. the custom test string are displayed continuously in the program window and are not used in most of the test page prints.

Print.Test.Page.OK is compatible with most versions of Windows, including Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows XP, as well as versions of from Windows Server 2000 onwards.
