Privacy is Sexy is one free service which allows operating system users to improve their privacy by creating and running custom scripts. The service is available for Windows, Linux and macOS online, but also as software.
Both versions support the creation of custom scripts, but only the software version includes options for immediate command execution.
A quick look at Privacy is Sexy's online version explains how the service works and how it differs from other privacy tools. Users select one of the supported operating systems, say Windows, and can then select one of the available categories to browse through the available options.
There are categories like disabling OS data collection, removing bloatware, or protecting privacy versus security. These categories contain dozens of customizable options.
The remove bloatware category, for example, has scripts for uninstalling Windows Store apps, removing OneDrive and other built-in Windows features, or removing widgets in Windows 11. Several of these options have more options e.g., the uninstall apps option lists most of the apps that Microsoft ships with the operating system by default.
Not all scripts are designed to improve privacy by making changes to the system. There's the Security Enhancements category, which lists options to enable Meltdown and Specter protections, disable insecure features, or prevent WinRM from using basic authentication.
It takes a while to read the entire list of available options. The web version of Privacy is Sexy lists 648 scripts for Windows, 129 scripts for macOS, and 127 scripts for Linux.
Scripts are selected by clicking the boxes and added to a custom script that contains all the user's options.
