At an event organized in San Francisco today, Lenovo announced Google's first Project Tango phone: Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is here and Phab means phablet.
The device comes in gold and gray unibody metal construction and features a QHD 6,4 inch screen, a Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM, and a battery in 4050 mAh.
There are four cameras, a 16 MP rear, and an 8 MP camera on the front. Of course, we should mention both Tango cameras, one of which calculates the depth, and the other can "feel" the movement.
There is also Dolby Atmos for recording and playback of surround sound 5.1.
Lenovo introduced the device to make crazy things like a homeowner to try out virtual furniture in his home before buying them, to shop inside, or even to create a virtual machine Rube Goldberg. It is very similar to Microsoft's HoloLens, besides the phone.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will be available from September for 499 dollars unlocked.
