SMS Alert for Fuel Pass 2026

In recent hours, there have been reports of misleading phishing messages being sent to citizens. Specifically, false SMS messages are being sent that supposedly inform about beneficiaries of the Fuel Pass 2026 and invite citizens to visit a specific link in order to submit an application or confirm their details.

It is noted that these messages attempt to imitate or impersonate public services or government agencies, using misleading wording and unofficial web addresses, with the aim of deceiving citizens and stealing personal or banking information. Specifically, the website https://vouchers.help/gov has been created with the aim of deceiving citizens and is not related to any official government agency.

Citizens should not click on the specific link under any circumstances and should not enter or share their personal information. It is noted that public bodies do not send SMS messages asking citizens to click on a link to submit an application, confirm information or enter personal or banking data.

The National Cybersecurity Authority of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence recalls useful instructions to enhance the security and privacy of citizens.

Phishing is an act of deceiving internet users, in which the sender impersonates a trusted entity, organization or person who invites the recipient of the message to follow the instructions given to them.

These instructions may ask the recipient to follow an electronic link or to provide personal data, such as sensitive private information, passwords, ID or passport details, bank account, bank card and more.
