Mathesis

Mathesis courses are offered free of charge and will continue. You can watch them to the end and take part in the weekly and final exam.

In most courses, however, you will be asked for a small fee - of the order of € 20 - for the certificate of successful attendance, as long as you are entitled to it having secured the required minimum performance of 50%. For the unemployed, the certificate is issued free of charge.

For our part, we consider this small consideration as your necessary contribution for its continuation of an institution that serves public purposes without receiving a single euro - direct or indirect - of state aid. It relies solely on donor support — which now only covers a small portion of its annual costs — and volunteer work. The continuation of the operation of Mathesis therefore also requires your active support. In this spirit we consider it necessary before your participation in the final examination of the course that you undertake an ethical commitment towards Mathesis. That if you successfully complete the course and are entitled to the attendance certificate, you will pay the €20 fee to obtain it, even if it has no obvious use for you.

A small step for you, a necessary plus but for Mathesis' ability to offer you the quality of courses it has offered you until now.

We also inform you that for the successful completion of the course you will be informed from your Progress page, but you will not have access to your performance until the fulfillment of the moral commitment you have undertaken.

We remind you that the certificates of successful attendance are issued free of charge to the unemployed registered with OAED.
