The new Q4OS 'Orion' 1.8.5 is the latest fixed version of the distribution and comes with various improvements and fixes (Once released, download the iso before the official announcement).
The most important news feature is the integration of alternative environments work. So if you don't like the Trinity desktop you can choose to switch to another DE that is more Linux-like: KDE, Xfce, or LXDE.
The Q4OS Orion distribution stopped supporting the LXQT and according to the developers it will come back with the release of Q4OS Scorpion.
The Icedove messaging app is no longer available from the program installations Q4OS, as it has been replaced by Thunderbird 45.8.
