The new Q4OS 'Orion' 1.8.5 is the latest stable version of the distribution and comes with various improvements and fixes (Once released, download the ISOs before the official announcement).
The most important new feature is the integration of alternate environments work. So if you don't like the Trinity desktop you can choose to switch to another DE that is more Linux-like: KDE, Xfce, or LXDE.
The Q4OS Orion distribution stopped supporting the LXQT and according to the developers it will come back with the release of Q4OS Scorpion.
The Icedove messaging application is no longer available from the Q4OS installation program as it has been replaced by Thunderbird 45.8.
