The qBittorrent it provides free software just like it μTorrent only that application runs and offers the same features on all major platforms (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, OS / 2, FreeBSD).
The qBittorrent is based on Qt4 toolkit and libtorrent-rasterbar.

The program was upgraded from Qt4 to Qt5.
Qt is a cross-platform application development framework. Along with this new feature, the new app comes new updated code in the core which will resolve issues with labels, temporary folders and other core features that some users reported as problematic when using previous versions of the client.
Note: When upgrading to qBittorrent's 3.3.0 version, you will not be able to go back to a previous version. The program will display a warning about it. To upgrade to Ubuntu
add the PPA for the stable version and upgrade from terminal
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: qbittorrent-team / qbittorrent-stable
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent
