The Pi Zero is currently the smallest computer ever made by the company, and packs quite a punch and components which allow it to match other devices in the Pi family. In fact, it is half the size of the A+ model released last year, but offers twice the performance.
So for 5 dollars, you can get a Broadcom BCM2835 processor that is 40 percent faster than Raspberry Pi 1 and 512MB RAM.
